Liel Maghen is the new co-director of IPCRI, and holds a M.A degree in International Development and a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Working both in top-down and bottom-up initiatives, his experience includes interning for the Israeli Knesset and the United States Congress together with managing programs for leading organizations such as Seeds of Peace, Givat Haviva, MEJDI Tours, and AIES. Through his role at IPCRI, Liel aims to develop impactful transboundary partnerships mainly through participatory activities and inclusive processes.

Nivine Sandouka, Palestinian Co-Director
Nivine Sandouka is a leader, especially in the field of Community Development in programming, management, peace-building, and gender-mainstreaming. She is also an activist for women’s rights and gender equity. She is currently working as the Co-Director of the Israel Palestine: Creative Regional Initiatives (IPCRI). In addition, she is Program Monitoring and Evaluation expert with the German Association for Development Cooperation (AGEH). She also runs a grassroots initiative called ‘Judi- from me to you’ that aims to connect women, and volunteers in several civil society organizations. She was identified by the US State Department as a young leader and participated in the prestigious ‘International Visitor Leadership Program’ on the theme of conflict resolution. Throughout her career, she developed several interventions and projects that aim at women’s empowerment and community development with international organizations such as Oxfam and CARE International. She participated in several conferences tackling the issue of women’s rights in Palestine, and attended two institutes of Feminist Transformative Leadership. Nivine has an MA in Democracy and Human Rights from Birzeit University and attended several courses on peace-building, gender, program management, accountability, and advocacy.
